This Privacy Policy explains how FONTGRID handles information when you use our website, browser extension, support channels and paid services.
1. Information we may process
We may process limited information necessary to operate and support the product, such as support correspondence, subscription or license status, device activation information, purchase email, transaction identifiers and transaction-related records provided by an authorized payment provider.
2. Local font information
FONTGRID is designed around fonts available on your computer. Normal local-font browsing uses information exposed by your browser on your device. FONTGRID does not upload your installed font files to its own servers as part of normal font browsing, and we do not sell your local font library or personal data.
3. Images and font files you choose
When you explicitly choose an image for Match Font or a font file for temporary preview, FONTGRID processes that content for the requested feature. The product is designed to keep those user-selected files local to the browser for the relevant workflow unless a feature clearly tells you otherwise before transmission.
4. Payments and billing
Full payment-card details are processed by the checkout provider and are not stored directly by FONTGRID. Payment services may be provided by PayPal or by Creem. For transactions processed by Creem, Creem acts as the Merchant of Record. FONTGRID may receive purchase email, transaction identifiers, subscription status, license information and other billing metadata needed to provide paid access and support.
5. How we use information
- Provide, maintain and secure FONTGRID.
- Manage subscriptions, licensing and device activation.
- Respond to support and billing questions.
- Diagnose technical issues and improve reliability.
- Meet legal, tax, fraud-prevention and payment-provider requirements.
6. Service providers
We may use third-party providers for hosting, payment processing, merchant-of-record services, email delivery, technical infrastructure, analytics or fraud prevention. These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy obligations. Our website is hosted on Netlify. Payment processing may be provided by PayPal or Creem depending on the checkout selected by the customer.
7. Data retention
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above and for applicable legal, accounting, fraud-prevention and support requirements.
